Please note, this is a hand-stamped item. Each character is stamped individually by hand, no machines are involved. As such, please expect subtle variations in alignment, spacing and depth of stamping.
Each metal key is a lightweight metal which is 3 1/8 inch long. The tag is appx. 1 3/4 inch long and will be handstamped.
You can choose a simple twine or red satin cord to complete your ornament.
Ornament will be packaged in an organza bag, ready for gifting!

Is this item engraved?
No, it is handstamped. I process that involves no machines, only a hammer, steel block and sets of metal stamps. Each item is stamped to order. It will no look engraved, because it is not engraved. Expect it to look handstamped ie subtle differences in alignment, spacing and depth of stamping. The letters will NOT be perfectly lined up. If that is not your style, this is not your ornament :)
Can I add text to the back?
The back will have year only. If you wish to add additional information, you can order an additional tag that can be attached to the key. The nature of hand-stamping
Each item is individually hand-stamped one character at a time. No two items will ever be the same. Expect differences in alignment, spacing and depth of impression.
Normal wear and tear
Your item is hand stamped, sanded and darkened before being sent to you. Over time, you can expect that the darkening will begin to fade. The fading can be accelerated by water, sunlight or other environmental or chemical factors. I cannot predict the timeline of how your piece will age.
In addition, all metal will dull and develop a patina over time. Items that are silver-plated (vintage spoon ornaments and plant stakes) will tarnish and can be shined using a silver polish or a piece of fine steel wool. Brass and aluminum items can be polished using a piece of fine steel wool should you wish.
These are chemical reactions that happens scientifically to metal and I cannot prevent them from happening. Thank you for understanding!
