Your Hand-stamped round washer style metal tag is made to order using your pet’s name and preferred phone number and is ready to ship in 3-5 business days.
Brass is either 1 inch or 1 1/4 inch which is pictured on Walter who is a 75 pound Lab mix (and cute as they come). The larger size is recommended for medium and larger dogs. The 1 inch size is good for smaller dogs.
The brass is 16 gauge which will not bend under typical conditions. It will develop a duller patina over time but can shined up using steel wool or metal polishing product if you wish.
The silver aluminum tag is 1 1/4 inch and is VERY LIGHTWEIGHT 14 gauge metal which is thick and sturdy and will not bend under normal use. It has a matte finish and will dull over time but will not rust or tarnish.
Attach to dog’s collar using the brass or silver colored metal split ring which comes with your tag. (Collar is NOT included)
Item is hand-stamped to order. Hand-stamping is done one character at a time; as such, please expect differences in depth, alignment and spacing. No two pieces will look exactly alike.
Your item is hand stamped, sanded and darkened before being sent to you. Over time, you can expect that the darkening will begin to fade. The fading can be accelerated by water, sunlight or other environmental or chemical factors. I cannot predict the timeline of how your piece will age.
In addition, all metal will dull and develop a patina over time. Items that are silver-plated (vintage spoon ornaments and plant stakes) will tarnish and can be shined using a silver polish or a piece of fine steel wool. Brass and aluminum items can be polished using a piece of fine steel wool should you wish.
These are chemical reactions that happens scientifically to metal and I cannot prevent them from happening. Thank you for understanding!
